The kids program is amazing and teaches your child not only how to stand up for themselves but also how to be respectful and disciplined. That respect and discipline isn't only in class but in every aspect of their lives at home and school. The adult classes are amazing as well.

Throughout a parent’s journey of trying to provide their children with the resources that will give them the skills and confidence necessary to help navigate life, the positive influence children can receive from various youth programs, are always considered. There are many great youth programs out there, but the North Plainfield Tiger Schulman Branch, should truly be recognized as a great resourceful extension of parents trying to find quality programs for their children. The staff is excellent in their self defense skills and abilities, as well as in their instructional skills in imparting that training on the young people in the program. Additionally, the encouraging motivational words and stories told by the staff to the young people at the earlier points in the program make the program a true positive resource multiplier for parents.

EXCELLENT program for the kids and for my husband and I! We enrolled our daughters to increase their self esteem and help learn self defense. We got SO much more!! They are reinforcing listening to their parents, paying attention in school/life, making friends and now my husband & I enrolled for our health.
